Everton have Toulouse’s Charlie Cresswell on their transfer agenda, according to recent claims from the UK media.
Jeunes Footeux relay that and then provide their own information on the Ligue 1 side’s stance on a possible transfer.
The centre-back left Leeds United for Toulouse in July 2024 and has been a regular in France. His performances have seen a few Premier League sides take notice, and Everton seem ‘particularly determined’.
Jeunes Footeux, who make it clear it’s their own information, report an Everton scout followed Cresswell in action against FC Metz and Stade Rennais in October. He scored in both matches and even registered an assist against the former.
The outlet say David Moyes’ side could make an offer in January and promise a starting role to convince the 23-year-old.
Cresswell has a contract until 2028 and Transfermarkt currently value him at €12m. It’s claimed Toulouse won’t accept any offer below €30m. They believe this is the ‘logical requirement’, considering the defender’s performances and the €23m collected from Jaydee Canvot’s summer sale to Crystal Palace.
There’s no indication whether Everton are willing to meet Toulouse’s price.
