Wolves have parted ways with director of professional football Domenico Teti by mutual consent, the club announced in a statement.
The 49-year-old leaves his Molineux role five months after being appointed as part of Wolves’ leadership team in June, following head coach Vitor Pereira’s sacking on Sunday.
Teti was hired by Wolves at the start of the summer after spells at Italian club Sampdoria and Saudi Pro League side Al Shabab, where he worked alongside Pereira.
According to journalist David Ornstein, Wolves may look to strengthen their current leadership team following Teti’s exit, with all eight members of Pereira’s backroom staff also departing Molineux.
Wolves remain on the lookout for a new head coach ahead of Saturday’s visit to Chelsea, with Middlesbrough manager Rob Edwards among the names in the running.

Wolves announced Teti’s departure on Tuesday, with executive chairman Jeff Shi saying in a statement:
“Domenico approached his role with total professionalism and built strong working relationships across the club during his time with us.
“He made a positive contribution to our football processes and has carried himself with integrity throughout.
“We thank him for his efforts and support and wish him every success in the future.”
Wolves relieved Pereira of his managerial duties following a 3-0 defeat by Fulham on Saturday, which continued their winless start to the Premier League season.
The Molineux side have secured just two points from their first 10 games and are sitting rock bottom of the league table, eight points off safety.
Wolves won just twice in 13 games in all competitions under Pereira this season, with both victories coming in the Carabao Cup, where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Chelsea last week.
The West Midlands club were advancing in talks to appoint Gary O’Neil as Pereira’s successor before he decided to withdraw from the running after a period of reflection.
Both Edwards and former Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag are believed to be among those being considered for the role, with Wolves aiming to appoint a new manager ahead of their visit to Chelsea on Saturday.
According to reports, Edwards would be open to returning to Molineux mid-season, despite being under contract at Middlesbrough, where he took over this summer.
