Liverpool striker Alexander Isak has been named in Graham Potter's first Sweden squad for the upcoming international break, even though he has been out injured for the last couple of weeks.
Isak was taken off at half-time in the Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt on October 22 and hasn't been seen since. Arne Slot said on Monday it was possible he could feature against Manchester City this weekend, but that he wouldn't start.
Since signing for Liverpool from Newcastle United on transfer deadline day in a British record deal, Isak has been restricted through injury and a lack of match sharpness. He missed most of the summer forcing through his move to Anfield.
Viktor Gyokeres, Niclas Eliasson and Dejan Kulusevski are all absent due to injuries. But Isak and Lucas Bergvall, the latter of whom is recovering from a concussion, are both included.
"As things stand right now, they are available," Potter said. "Lucas has had a concussion, but hopefully he can be there when it's time for us to play.
"Alex can hopefully play a bit this weekend and will be in Spain on Monday."

The Swedish national team will meet in Spain to train in Marbella. They will then travel to Switzerland on Friday, where it will play a World Cup qualifier on Saturday.
On Tuesday, it then hosts Slovenia. Sweden currently sits bottom of its World Cup qualifying group with one point from four games, so it almost certainly needs to win both matches to have a chance of reaching the play-offs.
Liverpool plays Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium at the weekend looking to win a third game on the spin.
"With Alex, we have to wait and see," Slot said earlier this week.

"Definitely not starting on Sunday but maybe involved in the squad. He is still not training with the team so we have to wait and see."
Jeremie Frimpong and Alisson Becker won't be back for the trip to Manchester. Curtis Jones, though, made his comeback from injury against Real Madrid and could feature again.
Giovanni Leoni, the young center-back, is the only longer-term absentee. He is set to be sidelined for months, potentially for the remainder of the season.
