Enzo Maresca talked about his expectations when facing **Qarabag**in the Champions League.
**Chelsea**feel a lot better about their hopes in continental football after a 1-0 win over **Benfica**and a 5-1 rout of **Ajax**at Stamford Bridge. They now travel to Azerbaijan for their fourth fixture in Europe.
The Blues beat **Qarabag**4-0 and 6-0 as the whipping boys of their Champions League group in the 2017/18 season, but this time, things may not be so straightforward. The Azerbaijani club came back from 2-0 down to beat **Benfica**3-2 in Lisbon before earning a 2-0 triumph over Copenhagen. Even against Athletic Club, they took the lead before the Basque side secured a 3-1 victory two weeks ago.
“Yeah, as a team, to be honest, they are a very good team. They are a very intense team. The way they press, the way they work together as a team, you can see that it's many, many years they work with the same manager. And then, especially at home, they are more intense. And as I said, it will be tough.
*“I do not think it's about being the favourite one. It's the way we try to deal with all the details of the game. Qarabag, I just said, they won two or three games like us in the Premier League. They were also winning the other one and then at the end they lost. It is a very good team. They are organised, well-organised. The way they press, the way they are intense. So, this is going to be a tough game.*
*“Absolutely, yes. And also because they are a good team. They beat Benfica, they beat Copenhagen, they were winning against Athletic Club and then at the end they lost. But for sure this is going to be a tough game for different reasons.”*
