After a pretty terrible weekend of kicking at the collegiate level, it sure would be nice to end with a palate-cleansing kick from Brandon Aubrey, wouldn't it?
The Cowboys kicker came close to providing that on Monday Night Football, as he attempted to tie the new record set by Cam Little, who made a 68-yard field goal on Sunday.
But Aubrey's kick drifted wide, so instead, why not give an offensive lineman a shoutout?
Mike McGlinchey had a tough assignment as the Denver Broncos took on the Houston Texans, trying to protect QB Bo Nix from 5-time Pro Bowl DE Danielle Hunter.
Nix was in for a long day. According to ProFootballFocus, Nix faced pressure on 15 of his 37 attempts, tying the most pressures he's faced in a game this season.
McGlinchey kept the Texans' pass rush at bay, allowing just two pressures on True Pass Sets and earning a 92.3 pass block efficiency grade.
Here's McGlinchey keeping Hunter away from Nix away on the Broncos' game-tying touchdown.
McGlinchey doing a nice job on the jump set establishing first meaningful contact on Hunter and widening him out just enough to give the QB cushion on the TD. Meinerz stout as usual too. pic.twitter.com/FL20TG2bqE

The Broncos went on to win the game 18-15, improving to 7-2.
