Everton’s stance over David Moyes’ future has now been shared after a recent report suggested Brendan Rodgers as a potential successor.
Moyes has only been able to secure one victory since August in the Premier League following Monday evening’s latest draw on Wearside.
After a bright start, Everton are experiencing some turbulence with goals coming at a premium for the Toffees.
More additions will be required in January as Everton News have reported Everton’s interest in signing a full-back and striker.
Expectations are high this season on Merseyside, which may have sparked some suggestions that Moyes is coming under scrutiny at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
However, speaking to Everton News, transfer correspondent Graeme Bailey has shared the club’s reaction to the suggestion Rodgers could be Everton bound.

Everton back David Moyes amid Brendan Rodgers speculation
Everton fans do not want Rodgers to be their next manager following his history with their city rivals, Liverpool.
Fear not, Everton fans, as The Friedkin Group are not pressing the panic button just yet as the Blues endure their relative struggles of recent weeks.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Discussing the current state of affairs on Merseyside, Bailey has shared the response to speculation about Rodgers coming out of the club.
“I’ll be honest, it was news to me. From what I understand, the Friedkins are pretty happy with David Moyes at the moment,” Bailey told Everton News.
“They know there’s a big job on their hands here. I’m not saying Moyes will be in charge in five years time or even two years time. But I’m not hearing anything that suggests there’s going to be an immediate change.”
“Certainly, I haven’t heard Brendan Rodgers’ name for Everton. I’ve heard him for a few teams, but Everton are not one of them.”
Moyes has explained some of his recent Everton team selections on the back of Tyler Dibling being snubbed on Monday evening.
But the Friedkins view the 62-year-old as the right man to stabilise the club following their takeover almost a full year ago.
Everton’s owners have and will continue to back Moyes financially
On the back of the summer, Moyes was thrilled with Everton’s transfer business in signing players like Jack Grealish.
More is going to be needed in January, though.
But Everton knew this was going to be the case. Moyes himself admitted in the final days of the summer window that not every need could be addressed in just one window.
Clearly, a lack of a consistent goalscorer is seriously hindering Everton this season, but there is still time for that to change.
Everton have ambitions of European qualification this season and that will certainly require a goalscorer to achieve that.
January is going to prove a very interesting month for the club, and Moyes will receive the backing of the owners.
