NFL Week 10 will open with an AFC West matchup as the Las Vegas Raiders travel to play the Denver Broncos on “Thursday Night Football.”
Las Vegas faces a tough challenge, as Denver has won six in a row and nine consecutive home games.
The Raiders will rely heavily on Maxx Crosby to disrupt the Broncos’ offense and create opportunities for an upset.
Denver offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi recently used one word to describe the star edge rusher.
“Phenom,” Lombardi said. “Disruptive, but it’s the motor that really stands out. I mean, just every single play, it’s all out. You can’t help but just get distracted by him every play. There’s a lot of guys that are dangerous, and sometimes they might pick and choose their spots, and he picks every single spot.”

Crosby’s relentless energy will be critical against Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, but the Raiders understand pressure alone will not secure a victory.
Their Week 9 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars exposed defensive limitations in the fourth quarter and overtime.
In eight games this season, Crosby has recorded 32 combined tackles, 5.0 sacks, 13 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and his first NFL interception.
His production remains the brightest spot in an otherwise difficult season for the Raiders.
However, his individual excellence has not translated into team success.
Denver’s coaching staff recognizes the challenge Crosby presents, but Las Vegas needs contributions beyond its star.
The Raiders must sustain their defensive effort for four quarters if they hope to earn an unexpected victory.
