Luka Doncic has been in and out of the Los Angeles Lakers’ lineup to start the 2025-26 season.
The former Dallas Mavericks star competed in Los Angeles’ first two regular-season contests before suffering a lower left contusion and left finger sprain that sidelined him for two games.
Doncic returned to the hardwood last Wednesday for the Lakers' NBA Cup clash against the Memphis Grizzlies and was active for the franchise’s next battle vs. the Miami Heat.
However, due to lower left leg contusion management, the Lakers were forced to face the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday without the five-time All-Star.
Los Angeles is back in action tonight against the San Antonio Spurs at Crypto.com Arena.
Is Luka Doncic playing vs. the Spurs tonight?
The Lakers received positive news ahead of their upcoming Western Conference clash vs. the Spurs, as Doncic isn’t listed on the injury report and should be prepared to run the show for Los Angeles following his one-game absence.
Doncic is averaging a remarkable 41.3 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game this season, and will get an opportunity to bolster his statistics tonight.
Although the 2025-26 season has just begun, a win tonight would help the Lakers keep pace with the defending-champion Oklahoma City Thunder, who are off to a perfect 8-0 start.
