The CIES Football Observatory, earlier today, published the list of footballers under the age of 20 years with the highest transfer value, based on their statistical model.
And, two spots in the top three are occupied by youngsters from FC Barcelona.
Indeed, Lamine Yamal, counted among the best in the world at the age of just 18, tops the list of the Most Valuable U-20 Players in the world.
The 18-year-old’s market value, according to CIES’ model, stands at a whopping €349.6 million, despite the youngster’s recent dip in form amid ongoing issues with pubic discomfort.
The gap between Lamine and the players behind him on the list is enormous. The second place is occupied by Estevao Willian of Chelsea.
The Brazilian wonderkid, a former transfer target for Barça, has a transfer value of €118.1 million, €232 million lower than the Barcelona star’s value.
