PSG confirm Hakimi latest in four-man injury update before Spurs test

Hakimi was reduced to tears upon being helped off the pitch late on the first half after being on the receiving end of a strong challenge from former Liverpool winger Luis Diaz, who was sent off.

Meanwhile, Dembele hobbled off after just 25 minutes on just his second start since returning from a hamstring problem that sidelined him for a number of weeks at the start of the campaign.

In addition to the aforementioned duo, Nuno Mendes and Desire Doue are expected to miss [PSG](/topic/psg)’s Ligue 1 clash against Lyon on Sunday, and it remains to be seen if they will be fit for the visit of Spurs after the international break.

A PSG statement reads: “Achraf Hakimi has severely sprained his left ankle, which will leave him unavailable for several weeks.

“Ousmane Dembele has picked up an injury to his left calf and will therefore remain on the treatment table for the next few weeks.

“Nuno Mendes has sprained his left knee and will also receive treatment over the next few weeks as a result.

“Desire Doue is continuing his rehabilitation work.

“A further update will be provided after the international break.”
