FOX makes final decision on Tom Brady after stabbing

Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez, who had been serving as an NFL analyst for FOX, found himself in a heap of trouble last month. Allegedly, Sanchez was intoxicated and attacked an elderly man, resulting in Sanchez’s stabbing and being taken to the hospital.

Although he has since been released from the hospital, Sanchez has yet to make another appearance in the broadcast booth. Some fans wondered if the network would demote Tom Brady, who is currently a part of the network’s top broadcast team, to Sanchez’s previous role.

Although Brady has improved since his first year on the job, many feel that Greg Olsen, who Brady replaced in the premier broadcast team, should reclaim his old role while Brady learns the ropes under less scrutiny.

However, FOX has decided to leave Brady pat, and has gone elsewhere to fill the void left by Sanchez.

“NEWS: Hall of Famer Drew Brees is joining Fox Sports to become a full-time NFL game analyst, The Athletic has learned. Fox NFL Sunday’s Big 3 game analyst are now Tom Brady, Greg Olsen and Brees,” reported Andrew Marchand of The Athletic.

“Brees was not good on nbc, maybe he’s better this time around?” one fan wrote on Twitter.

“Oh God..he’s terrible,” someone else wrote.

It’ll be interesting to see how Brees does in the role.
