“Stinker”, “Very Raw” – Fans Slam Chelsea Defender For Disaster Performance in 2-2 Draw to Qarabag

Football fans made fun of Jorrel Hato because he didn’t play well for Chelsea in their 2-2 draw with Qarabag. The 19-year-old had a bad game in the Champions League, making a costly handball in the first half and being negatively involved in the build-up to Qarabag’s first goal.

Chelsea took the lead in the 17th minute thanks to Estevao, but Qarabag took advantage of the Blues’ shaky defense. Camilo Duran took the ball away from Hato, hit the post, and Leandro Andrade scored on the rebound 29 minutes into the game. Ten minutes later, Marko Jankovic scored from the spot after Hato handled the ball in the area. The home team was ahead 2-1 at halftime.

However, Alejandro Garnacho scored early in the second half to tie the game and get a point. Fans reacted by slamming Hato on social media with comments like these:

“I have seen tosin make errors but hato is a discovery.”

“My boy Jorrel Hato is having an absolute stinker of a game. First mistake from him leads to the equaliser now he’s giving a pen away for the second goal! Get it together bro 😤”

“Jorrel Hato is running a charity-campaign mid game, brother is granting free chances like it’s Christmas”

“Hato is very raw, definitely got bags of potential and will come good eventually, but the problem for these youngsters is that there’s no real long term plan at Chelsea for them”

“I’m just so tired of the mental errors every single game, hato has played 100 league games, he played ucl games , he’s a full Dutch international but the coach must tell him he cannot lose the ball in front of his own box.”

Hato made one key tackle – a last-man intervention – and two clearances, but those were the only good things he did. The mistakes that led to Qarabag’s goals were much worse. He was guilty for both goals in the first half, when the young Chelsea team had trouble keeping control.
