Kings make new injury announcements on Domantas Sabonis and Zach LaVine regarding playing tonight

The Sacramento Kings have an exciting matchup on Wednesday night.

It just will be lacking a lot of the regular star power that would be expected for a clash with the Golden State Warriors.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Warriors announced that Stephen Curry would be out with an illness.

And midway through the afternoon, the Kings announced a couple absences of their own.

Is Domantas Sabonis playing tonight?

No, Domantas Sabonis has been ruled out of the Wednesday night matchup with the Warriors.

Sabonis has a left ribcage contusion.

This will be the first missed game for Sabonis since the season opener.

Is Zach LaVine playing tonight?

No, Zach LaVine is also out on Wednesday night against Golden State.

His absence will be due to lower back soreness.

This likely pushes Keon Ellis and Malik Monk into more minutes.

The Kings' next game is another big one, Friday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. They'll hope to have their stars back for that one.
