In Week 10, the Philadelphia Eagles will face off against the Green Bay Packers in a primetime “Monday Night Football” matchup under the lights at Lambeau Field.
The NFC East-leading Eagles are 6-2 heading into this contest, winning each of their previous two games before the Week 9 bye.
Philadelphia will look to continue its positive momentum in style, selecting a rarely-seen uniform combination for Monday night’s matchup against the Packers.
The Eagles will wear black helmets, white jerseys and black pants - marking just the second time in franchise history the team has worn this combination. The first and only other time Philadelphia wore this combination was in last year’s regular-season opener against the Packers in Brazil.
The Eagles debuted this uniform combination as an homage to Brazilian soccer team SC Corinthians, the hosts of last year’s Week 1 matchup at Arena Corinthians.
The last time the Eagles wore this uniform combination, they took down the Packers with a 34-29 final score in the international matchup. Running back Saquon Barkley shined bright in his Philadelphia debut, recording 132 scrimmage yards and three total touchdowns. Wide receiver A.J. Brown also had an impressive showing, reeling in five catches for 119 yards and one touchdown from quarterback Jalen Hurts.
The eventual Super Bowl-champion Eagles also hosted the Packers for a wild card matchup in last year’s postseason, claiming victory with a 22-10 final score at Lincoln Financial Field.
Monday night’s matchup against the Packers will kickoff at 8:15 p.m. ET.
