Hansi Flick Makes Decision On Leaving Barcelona Amid Club Brugge Draw

Barcelona could only draw 3-3 in Brugge after going behind three times.
Hansi Flick has made a decision on his future as Barcelona manager amid their disappointing 3-3 draw against Club Brugge.
Barca went into the clash in Belgium in the Champions League play-off places, having won two and lost one of their opening three matches.
They went behind against Brugge on three occasions, with former Manchester City academy star Carlos Forbs scoring twice for the hosts either side of half-time.
But Barca responded each time with goals from Ferran Torres and Lamine Yamal and an own goal from ex-Norwich winger Christos Tzolis.
They almost conceded a calamitous goal in stoppage time when goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny lost the ball in his own penalty area, but goalscorer Romeo Vermant was deemed to have fouled the Pole before putting the ball into the empty net.
Having won La Liga during Flick's maiden season, pressure has begun to grow on the German in recent weeks - particularly after Sunday's 2-1 El Clasico defeat at Real Madrid.
The manner of Barca's performance in Brugge, especially the three goals conceded, is likely to increase that pressure on Flick.
Les Cules haven't kept a clean sheet in nine matches and were thrashed 4-1 at Sevilla in La Liga last month.
But according to Spanish journalist Alfredo Martinez, Flick is defiant over his future and has no desire to quit Barcelona.
Reports surrounding his job are said to have been put to him in the hours before the Brugge clash, to which he simply responded: "More garbage."
Flick took over at Camp Nou in the summer of 2024, replacing Barcelona legend Xavi at the helm.
He previously had two unsuccessful years in charge of the Germany national team, which culminated in their shock first round exit at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Prior to that, he won the 2020 Champions League title with Bayern Munich, having only taken over an interim basis in the previous December following the sacking of Niko Kovac.
