The Philadelphia Eagles didn't make any seismic trades at the 2025 NFL Trade Deadline. Still, they did manage to bring in a pass rusher by adding former Miami Dolphins first-round pick Jaelan Phillips in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Eagles' long-term outlook, however, hasn't been significantly altered by the trade deadline. This team still needs multiple pass catchers, a pass rusher behind Phillips, and a cornerback that can offset the down seasons from Kelee Ringo and Adoree Jackson.

The Eagles will need to make a strong showing in the 2026 NFL Draft to maintain their status as one of the best teams in the league, and following this plan of attack could help them stay at the top.

Philadelphia Eagles 3-round 2026 NFL Mock Draft

Round 1, Pick 31: Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon

The Eagles know that Dallas Goedert is not going to be the unquestioned starting tight end for much longer, and they need to find a replacement in what is a very thin class. Sadiq has leapfrogged Ohio State's Max Klare and Vanderbilt's Eli Stowers to become the top player at his position.

Sadiq is unlikely to be an elite blocker due to his frame and style of play, but he profiles as a near-elite receiver with room to grow in the right offense. Jalen Hurts will be looking for Sadiq early and often if Philly picks him.

Round 2, Pick 63: Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State

The Eagles need more cornerback talent on the outside, as Jaire Alexander is nothing more than a flier, and Michael Carter II has been bordering on unplayable for the Jets. Johnson is this class's Swiss Army knife, as he can move around the defensive backfield and keep making plays.

Even though the midseason All-American isn't the biggest cornerback at 185 pounds, his scheme versatility and stickiness at the line of scrimmage will help him become a Top-75 pick. Quinyon Mitchell proved that coming from a smaller school should not be an impediment for the Eagles to consider investing a top pick in a defensive back like Johnson.

Round 3, Pick 67: Zion Young, EDGE, Missouri

Both Young and teammate Damon Wilson Jr. are projected to be picked on Day 2. While Wilson is speedier and more of a true pass rusher, Young is the slightly bigger player who may have more upside as a run defender and could be a better fit in the Eagles' defensive scheme.

Even if the Eagles can retain Phillips beyond this season, the lack of a strong pass rush will continue to be a significant impediment to the franchise's success. Young has starter potential early in the third round, and that value pick has typically turned out well for Howie Roseman.

Round 3, Pick 98: Eric Singleton Jr, WR, Auburn

Jahan Dotson's failure to emerge as a quality WR3 after arriving in Philly via trade has created a legitimate need for the Eagles to target another pass-catcher on Day 2. Like Dotson, Singleton is a smaller player who appears to be more at home in the slot.

If Singleton, a Georgia Tech transfer thriving at Auburn, takes to that No. 3 role, the stylistic contrast between the muscular A.J. Brown, the smooth DeVonta Smith, and the rookie might make the Eagles' wide receiver room as deep and talented as it has been in the Hurts era.
