Pep Guardiola says he is enjoying watching his team evolve.
City’s 4-1 win over Borussia Dortmund was another impressive victory for Guardiola’s side who have now lost just once in 13 games, winning 10 of those matches.
Now the boss is looking forward to seeing what comes next.
“The body language, how they compete, how they are…” said Pep.
“I said the same when we lost against Aston Villa [10 days ago]. It was the same at the FIFA Club World Cup.
“We have special opponents in the Premier League; Arsenal look unbeatable in that at the moment.
“It’s important to be good now, but I want to see the team grow. Working hard to be better and better.
“When that happens, when you arrive in the last stages, you are there. When we lost at Villa, people forget Swansea, but we had to win there because when you lose you have to win as soon as possible.
“That helped us to win against Bournemouth and here. We did it and we have one more day to recover before Liverpool.”
