But according to ex-wife Haley Kalil, apparently it was his size that caused issues in their marriage and eventually led to divorce.

Haley, a 33-year-old model and influencer, opened up about her relationship with the former Minnesota Vikings Pro Bowler on a Twitch stream with Marlon, a popular internet personality.
When discussing what led to their split, Haley said, “We were trying to do the damn thing,” before stopping herself from directly saying the reason out loud and typing it on her phone before handing it to the streamer.
An exasperated Marlon then asked if she was being serious, to which she flopped her arm down on the table and saying: “Dead a–, for our whole marriage, dead a–.”

“But I was going to try it all. We tried it all: Therapist, doctors. Not even lying … Looked up lipo-type s—. That’s why it’s kinda funny. It’s like my life is a comedy and it kinda writes itself.

Marlon said the reason was one of the “craziest stories” he had heard.
“That’s why I can’t put it on the internet,” Haley said. “We tried it all.”

‘Chill people’ during divorce
Haley also went as far as to describe the situation as two Coca-Cola cans stacked on top of each other.
Haley, who appeared in the 2019 issue of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, said that the split with Matt was amicable and that they “were really chill people” in the divorce.

She added that Matt is a “really good person” and they remain friends.
After Haley’s comments went viral, she made clear when speaking to TMZ that she was not trying to shame her ex in any way.
“I care deeply about respecting his privacy and the integrity of what we shared together,” Haley told the outlet.
“During our livestream, we talked about so much more than what’s being highlighted — the love in our marriage, the growth we experienced, the depth of our connection.
“It’s unfortunate that only one fragment is being amplified because it doesn’t capture the full story of how meaningful things were to me. I hope the hour-and-half-long conversation reflects more than a funny soundbite.”
