Ruben Amorim has made big decisions regarding his attack at Manchester United
Manchester United's explosive summer transfer window continues to create ripples this season.
And it's not just at Old Trafford where the effects are being felt, with fresh developments emerging from Stamford Bridge regarding Ruben Amorim outcast Alejandro Garnacho. The Argentina international departed Ruben Amorim's squad amid considerable controversy before sealing a £40million switch to Chelsea.
The discounted price tag reflected United's eagerness to move the player on, though he appears to have transformed his approach since the move. Meanwhile, back in Manchester, one Red Devils legend has been particularly taken with a recent addition to the squad.
Here's all the latest news around Old Trafford before Saturday's trip to Tottenham.
Cunha's influence

Following a flurry of attacking signings during the summer window, there was much for United supporters to anticipate ahead of the current campaign.
Treble-winning legend Teddy Sheringham has been astounded by the contribution of Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian joined Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko in a total overhaul of the forward line.
Sheringham, who netted in the legendary comeback victory over Bayern Munich more than 25 years ago, anticipates great things from the ex-Wolves star.
"Yes, the tenacity that Matheus Cunha has is definitely needed for a professional footballer to get to the next level," he told the Manchester Evening News, via Oddspedia.

"He certainly has that for me - I've really liked watching him over the past three or four games.
"He seemed like he's found his place in the team – I don't know whether someone has spoken to him about stepping up to the plate and taking on that mantle of being the focal point of the team, but he's definitely taken that on in the last month.
"He could be the difference between United being an average team and a very good team. Long may his form continue."
Cunha netted his first goal for United in last month's impressive 4-2 triumph over Brighton. However, supporters will be eager to see the adaptable forward enhance his performance even more as the Red Devils ascend the Premier League ranks.
Garnacho attitude
Alejandro Garnacho is now Chelsea's problem not Manchester United's

Garnacho's reputation at Old Trafford took a significant hit following Amorim's appointment at the club. While there were never serious questions about the winger's ability on the pitch, his situation became impossible primarily due to concerns about his attitude, reports the Mirror.
The South American found himself embroiled in controversy around this time last year, facing allegations of revealing team information. He subsequently described United's 2024/25 campaign as "s***" and hinted at a possible summer departure after being omitted from the Europa League final loss to Spurs.
Roberto Garnacho, the player's brother, also added fuel to the flames by publicly criticising the manager's choices on social media. Ultimately, the winger was considered too disruptive and sealed his switch to west London after half a decade at Old Trafford.

However, any hints of defiance seem to have vanished since his arrival in the capital. Give Me Sport has revealed Chelsea's coaching staff have been delighted with the forward's "attitude and intensity" during training sessions, with the player even remaining behind to hone his skills in the attacking third, in a complete U-turn behaviour wise.
His position in Enzo Maresca's squad remains uncertain, though. Garnacho has managed just one direct goal contribution across eight appearances for the Blues and has found himself relegated to the substitutes' bench for Chelsea's previous six Premier League matches.

Whether it's the fresh surroundings, his new manager or different influences, reports indicate he has transformed for the better, but he's yet to prove it on the pitch where it counts and make United miss him.
Nevertheless, those at United might still question if it's simply a case of when, rather than if, Garnacho's frustrations will resurface again.
