6th November 2022 – West Ham 1-2 Palace
Does it get any better than a 94th-minute winner? The answer, of course, is no.
A game full of drama ebbed and flowed at the London Stadium, with the hosts taking the lead before Wilfried Zaha brought Palace back level just before half-time.
After the break it was anyone’s game, and West Ham were awarded a penalty in the dying moments after a Marc Guéhi challenge, but VAR stepped in to overturn the decision and it was game on again.
Then, with the seconds ticking away deep into stoppage time, Michail Antonio’s cross was intercepted and Palace sprang forwards on the counter, working the ball out to Michael Olise on the edge of the area.
