Galway GAA fans will have been left a bit confused last night having spotted GAA royalty shaking hands with Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola last night.
The Spaniard coached his side to a comfortable 4-1 win over German side Borussia Dortmund in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night.
However, some viewers spotted that he met a guest with a special place in Galway GAA post-match.
Cameras picked up the moment that Guardiola met Galway Senior Football manager Padraic Joyce and his family.
In a video shared to X, the two managers can be seen shaking hands and having a quick chat before Pep gets in a photo with Joyce, his wife and two kids.

One X user joked that Pep would be the replacement for coach John Divilly, who stepped down back in September.
They posted: "Pep to replace Divo on the Galway coaching ticket!"
