Arne Slot looks likely to be offered a new Liverpool contract soon.
Plenty of talk has emerged about Slot’s future recently, with October’s run of form raising plenty of questions among the fanbase.
However, their first two games in November proved that they still have what it takes to compete with the best, as Liverpool managed to beat both Aston Villa and Real Madrid.

Despite most people knowing Liverpool’s losing streak was just a bit of a blip, there were still some questioning whether Slot had what it took to get his men scoring again.

At the moment, he’s certainly proving that he can, with talk of a new contract now emerging.
Liverpool want to extend Arne Slot’s contract before the end of the season
Since Slot’s current deal is set to expire in the summer of 2027, talks between the Reds and the Dutchman need to be opened as soon as possible.
The former Feyenoord boss managed to win the Premier League title by some distance last term, and although not everything has gone to plan this time around, it’s clear that he’s getting the Reds back on track.
This bodes well for his future, with a new report from TEAMtalk now sharing that a new contract could be offered to the Liverpool boss before the end of the 2025-26 season.

The report starts by stating that the Reds are ‘already making progress’ on getting Slot a new deal.
It then goes on to say that Liverpool believe a ‘full agreement’ can be reached before the end of this term.
Despite all the noise about Slot getting sacked over the last few weeks, those within Liverpool believe them to be ‘extremely exaggerated’ as there was no ‘concern’ among the Anfield ranks.
Lastly, TEAMtalk add that plans for an extension have been in the works for some time now and will ‘remain on track’ to be completed soon.
Arne Slot needs to help Liverpool build on their recent wins
Liverpool’s recent performances have been nothing short of impressive, especially after the month of turmoil they had in October.
Many thought that the Reds would easily make their way to the top of the Premier League table, and while that was the case at the start of the season, it’s been far from that recently.
Most also thought that the Anfield outfit would be untouchable in the Champions League due to their signings, such as Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz, but in reality, the arrival of all these players seems to have disrupted things in L4.
However, now that Slot has reverted to a similar starting XI that won him the Premier League title last term, everything is going much more smoothly.

If Liverpool don’t build on their recent wins and end up getting beaten by Manchester City on Sunday, they’ll be heading into the international break lacking confidence.
There hasn’t been a better time for the Reds to face Pep Guardiola’s men this season, and as long as Liverpool put in a good performance like they did against Real Madrid on Tuesday, they should be onto a winner.
