Belief Aston Villa player can be signed for €35m – May be the low side

Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa has emerged as a new target for Inter Milan.

That’s what L’Interista are reporting, and they cover the Serie A side’s interest in the centre-back.

Konsa joined Aston Villa from Brentford in July 2019 and has been a regular for the Villans since.

His displays for the Premier League side were rewarded with an England call up in March 2023. The defender has also been a regular in the Three Lions’ squad since then.

Inter Milan have taken notice of the 28-year-old’s impressive performances and have him on their agenda. They are said to be looking for a readymade, high-level centre-back and considering signing the England international.

€35m for Aston Villa player may be too low

Konsa has a contract until 2028, and the report explains Unai Emery’s side currently value him at least at €35m.

He’s a key figure at Aston Villa. Taking this and the time left on his contract, Inter may need much more than €35m to sign Konsa.

The Italian club won the title in 2023/24 season and were recently in the Champions League final. A move to the San Siro can see Konsa compete for trophies.

For now, Inter Milan are in the picture for Aston Villa player. There is no mention whether he’s open to joining them.
