Aaron Rodgers, who will always be remembered for his time with the Green Bay Packers, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are back to their winning ways after stunning the Indianapolis Colts in Week 9.
Although Rodgers did not have the sharpest of performances in that game, he did enough to help Pittsburgh pull off a 27-20 win over Daniel Jones and company via a score of 27-20 at Acrisure Stadium. The 41-year-old Rodgers passed for 203 yards and a touchdown with zero interceptions on 25-of-35 completions while getting sacked three times.
Perhaps it can get better for Rodgers going forward now that there’s a familiar face the Steelers just added to the organization.

Pittsburgh recently signed free agent wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling to its practice squad, which gives hope for a possible reunion on the same field with his former quarterback with the Green Bay Packers.
In fact, Valdes-Scantling said that the only reason he decided to join the Steelers was to be teammates with Rodgers again.
Via Brooke Pryor of ESPN:
“This guy next to me got me here,” the receiver said, gesturing to Rodgers. “You’ve been trying to get me around since we left Green Bay.
“… He is the reason.”
The 31-year-old Valdes-Scantling played his first four seasons in the NFL with the Packers, all with Rodgers as the team’s starting quarterback.
During his time in Green Bay, MVS racked up 13 touchdowns and 2,153 receiving yards on 123 receptions and 247 targets across 59 games. He also played with the Kansas City Chiefs and won two Super Bowl titles with them before stops with the Buffalo Bills and New Orleans Saints.
