Peter Crouch has given his verdict on who’s going to win between Liverpool and Manchester City on Sunday, 9 November.
The Reds have had a couple of decent games recently, with Arne Slot’s men beating Real Madrid and Aston Villa.
Indeed, both games were only just won by the Anfield outfit, but the fact that they triumphed over Los Blancos is something that cannot be brushed over, especially after their performances in October.

Going into November, fans were far from excited to see their team in action, but now that they’re winning, talk of Slot getting himself a new contract has started to emerge.

And, just before the international break comes upon us, the Reds are set to face another powerhouse in Manchester City, with Crouch sharing his thoughts on who’s going to come out on top.
Peter Crouch says that Manchester City will beat Liverpool on Sunday
Liverpool and Man City have been arch-rivals ever since Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola took over as managers.
The Cityzens were the main reason why Liverpool’s golden generation of players failed to win as much as they deserved to, with Klopp only winning one Premier League title.
And, although they weren’t much of a problem last term, they’re now second in the top-flight table with Crouch believing that they have enough quality to beat the Anfield outfit.
MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES
“I know my score. I’m going with, I think Manchester City 2-1, which pains me to say. It pains me to say Liverpool score, but I think City at the moment might be a little bit too strong,” he said on the That Peter Crouch Podcast.
“I like the team they picked. Liverpool in the last game against Villa, did feel that they’ve, hopefully they can bounce back. And I hope I’m wrong in some ways, but my head rules to my heart, 2-1.”
Liverpool must prove their worth and beat Manchester City on Sunday
No matter what sort of form Liverpool or City are in, fans always know that it’s going to be a good game.
Both teams manage to bring the best out of one another, with nobody knowing which way the clash will go.
Recently, it’s been pretty 50-50 between who leaves the game with all three points, and to be honest, most fans are likely feeling the same way about Sunday’s clash.
Both teams are in decent form, with the Reds winning their last two games across all competitions while City have won their last three.
However, something that could go in favour of Slot’s men is that Rodri might not be fit enough to play.

The midfielder has been struggling since his return from his ACL injury, with the Spaniard even missing out on their recent Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund.
Sunday’s game will prove whether the Reds have actually turned over a new leaf or if their last two outings were just flukes.
