Radio host goes off on epic rant on Giants’ Brian Daboll: ‘The guy can’t coach’

ESPN radio host Don La Greca went off an all-time rant on Giants coach Brian Daboll on Tuesday.

The Giants are 2-7 for the third straight season under Daboll, who is 20-39 for his career.

“You’re 2-7 three straight years, 2-7 three straight years,” La Greca said while pounding a table.

“It’s not all because of injury, it’s not all because the schedule is tough. The guy can’t coach. He’s a good offensive coordinator, he works well with quarterbacks, but he stinks as a coach.

“He’s got to go! Out, goodbye!”

Daboll started 2-7 in 2023 and finished 6-11, and finished 3-14 a year ago after a 2-7 start.

This year the team has been devastated by injuries to Malik Nabers and Cam Skatteboo while rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart has been a bright spot.

“It’s not like you’re severing limbs by replacing the head coach and the offensive coordinator, he might be able to fight through it, OK,” La Greca said.

“Listen, I’ve only been following football for 45 years now, but 2-7 is not a good record...That’s not good...Do we really need to take the deep dive? 2-7 every year.”
