However, they bounced back by thrashing Copenhagen in the Champions League on Tuesday night.

Meanwhile, opponents United extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a draw at Nottingham Forest last time out.

Although their winning streak is over, the Red Devils can leapfrog Spurs with a win this weekend.

The two sides are currently separated by goal difference in sixth and eighth, respectively.

Tottenham vs Man United: Team news

Frank expects to welcome back Mohammed Kudus on Saturday after the midfielder missed the win over Copenhagen.

Djed Spence was fit enough to make a cameo off the bench during that match and could start against United.

However, the clash will come too soon for several players on their path to match fitness.

Lucas Bergvall, Kota Takai, Archie Gray, Yves Bissouma, Radu Dragusin, Ben Davies and Dominic Solanke are instead tipped to return after the international break.

Long-term absentees Dejan Kulusevski and James Maddison also remain unavailable.

As for the visitors, Lisandro Martinez is currently Ruben Amorim's only injury concern.

The defender has returned to training from a knee injury but is not expected to feature until their clash with Everton on November 24.

Although Amorim revealed last week that Martinez wants to play, the club are being cautious with his comeback.
