Real Madrid midfielder Fede Valverde just received confirmation from team doctors that he has avoided a groin injury, meaning that he will be available when Los Blancos face Rayo Vallecano this Sunday, club sources told _Managing Madrid_. Valverde had to leave the field during the match against Liverpool and he underwent some tests to determine whether or not he had suffered an actual injury, but luckily enough for him he has managed to stay healthy.
Valverde will be a relevant player now that Aurelien Tchouameni will miss the next three weeks with a hamstring injury. With Alexander-Arnold ready to take the right-back spot, Valverde will likely return to the midfield to play alongside Eduardo Camavinga and Jude Bellingham, while Arda Güler could play on the right wing.
Either way, Real Madrid’s coaching staff will likely keep an eye on Valverde’s minutes during the next few games in order to make sure that he stays fresh.
