Noah Okafor has experienced a mixed start to his Leeds career.
Two goals in his first five Premier League appearances following a £18m move from AC Milan saw the Switzerland international make a strong first impression.
However, there has now been a setback for the Leeds No.19 after Murat Yakin opted not to call him into the Switzerland squad for the upcoming international break.
The 51-year-old has now told Noah Okafor what he must do to change this when speaking to Watson.
Murat Yakin challenges Noah Okafor to score more goals
The message is simple – the man born in Binningen needs to find the net more often.
Yakin said: “I’ve spoken with Okafor repeatedly, telling him what I expect from him on and off the pitch. I hope my words eventually get through to him.
“We’ll continue to monitor him. Attacking players are also measured by their goalscoring. Those who are currently in the squad have an advantage over Okafor in that regard.”

The 25-year-old can only boast two goals in his 24 appearances for Switzerland, so he has little to fall back on in terms of international pedigree if he fails to score more often at Leeds.
Okafor – who angered Daniel Farke during the loss at Brighton due to his poor movement – has scored 65 goals in 286 club appearances since turning professional, so he is capable of finding the net more than he currently is.
Stuart Dallas has a different piece of advice for Noah Okafor
Yakin has clearly told the Swiss forward he needs to be more dangerous in front of goal.
However, Stuart Dallas said Okafor needs to work on what he does with his back to goal when partaking in the attacking buildup.
The Irishman said: “Listen, I like him. I think he’s got a lot about him. He’s quick, he’s direct. Can he be better in different situations? With his back to goal, I think he needs to be a lot better.”

Yakin wants goals, Farke wants better movement and Dallas wants to see stronger hold-up play, meaning Okafor has much to think about and work on at Thorp Arch during the international break.
