Smith on his podcast Straight Shooter with Stephen A. Smith on Wednesday talking about the potential outcomes of what is next in New York City with him winning the election. He expressed major concerns about what Mamdami is potentially going to do to this city. Smith said,

“I’m not happy about it … I’m very, very concerned about some of the things that he said. I’m very concerned about what he once said about defunding the police. I don’t want to see less police officers. I want to see more police officers … I don’t want to hear about no d*mn mental health experts in subways! Free buses, free grocery stores in each borough? Really? Really think that’s going to work?”

He is not the only one who is concerned about what could potentially happen in the city with grocery stores, police officers, and much more. It is going to potentially very ugly in New York City really fast when Mamdami gets into office. Smith is just like everyone else who is concerned and this is why some people are potentially fleeing the city for other greener pastures.
