Burnley’s relegation rivals Wolves are set to an approach for Middlesbrough boss Rob Edwards, according to reports.

Multiple sources are reporting the Premier League’s bottom side have decided on the Middlesbrough head coach as their new man.
Wolves were recently beaten by Burnley in stoppage-time and followed that up with a 3-0 drubbing away to Fulham, which proved to be Pereira’s final game in charge.
The West Midlands outfit held talks with former boss Gary O’Neil during the week, despite only sacking the 42-year-old 11 months ago.
But O’Neil opted to withdraw from the running on Monday.

Wolves’ hierarchy now appear to have settled on Edwards, who made over 100 appearances for the club as a player between 2004 and 2008.
His Boro side currently sit third in the Championship, just one point adrift of Stoke City in second.
Edwards has previously managed AFC Telford, Forest Green Rovers, Watford and Luton Town.
As it stands, the 42-year-old is due to hold his pre-match press conference on Friday afternoon ahead of this weekend’s game against Birmingham City.
