Jordan Love‘s numbers show that he’s the right guy for the Green Bay Packers, even though the quarterback’s reputation doesn’t always seem to back that up.
Yet, Love recently made franchise history with a major career milestone.
According to Jacob Morley, Love surpassed 10,000 career passing yards in just 1,308 attempts, which is the second fastest for any Green Bay quarterback.
The only player who did so in fewer attempts was Love’s mentor and predecessor, Aaron Rodgers.

That is the second fastest in Packers history.

The Packers went from Brett Favre to Rodgers to Love, an impressive streak of starting QBs that may be unprecedented in NFL history.
Of course, that’s not to say that Love will have the same type of career as those NFL MVPs, but he’s gotten off to a similar start.
Granted, Favre and Rodgers have something else Love is still looking for, which is a Super Bowl ring.
Each of his predecessors won the championship in his age-27 season, and Love turned 27 this month.
The Packers entered the season with Super Bowl aspirations, and they’ve looked like one of the top teams in the league when they’ve been at their best.
However, their inconsistency and offensive play-calling have raised doubts about their ability to get the job done in the postseason.
Love also has fallen short in big moments, but the team would be wise to put more on his shoulders in the second half of the season.
