Are A.J. Brown, Saquon Barkley practicing Thursday? Latest injury updates on Eagles stars

All eyes are on Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown and running back Saquon Barkley in Week 10, as both players have been dealing with an injury.

Brown was ruled out in Week 8 before the Eagles' bye due to a hamstring injury, which was unexpected to say the least. Barkley suited up in that game, but he also suffered a groin injury that forced his early exit.

As the Eagles begin preparation for Week 10 on Thursday, we'll be keeping an eye on their practice participations to see if both players are on track to suit up on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers.

Is A.J. Brown practicing Thursday?

When asked about Brown's status on Thursday before the team took the field for its first session of the week, head coach Nick Sirianni did not offer a comment and told reporters to refer to the injury report later in the day, The Athletic's Zach Berman reported.

The Eagles are set for practice at 3:10 p.m. ET, so we'll know more later in the day about Brown.

While Sirianni's might seem troubling on the surface, Berman adds that it's perfectly normal for Sirianni not to comment on a player's status.

"For context: Nick Sirianni declines to give an update on anybody's status, whether they'll play or won't play. It's his MO with injuries. So this shouldn't be interpreted as anything other than Sirianni offering a non-answer — not suggestive of the status of either player," Berman explained.

Is Saquon Barkley practicing Thursday?

As was the case with Brown, Sirianni declined to comment on Barkley's status for Week 10 before the team took the field, so we're still in the dark as of this writing.

We'll know more later in the day when the team drops its first injury report, which should come at some time after 4 p.m. ET.
