Reports from Brazil say Jhon Arias is showing early signs of frustration at Wolves.
The insider channel Flamenguista em Portugal claims the Colombian winger has grown uneasy with his situation in England, where he often starts on the bench during a poor campaign.
Vitor Pereira’s exit is cited as another possible reason for his discomfort. Adding to that, the team’s struggles and his lack of minutes seem to be testing Arias’ patience.
It’s the first time since his arrival that reports in Brazil describe him as unhappy. Until recently, journalists portrayed him as focused on proving himself in Europe.
That shift has revived speculation about a return to South America. Flamengo and Fluminense are both keeping an eye on the situation, though no contact or proposal exists for now. Brazilian outlets believe his name could reappear in the market if Wolves fail to improve.
Wolves player an open transfer target
Adding to the noise, Ademar Arrais, a candidate in Fluminense’s presidential election, has said he wants to bring Arias back to his former club.
In an interview relayed by insider outlet Netflu, he explained: “We will go after Arias’ repatriation. I’m not saying I’ll succeed, but I won’t avoid any effort to make it happen.”
Arias’ contract with Wolves runs until June 2029. His goal remains to help the team escape the relegation zone, but talk of a homecoming is growing louder in Brazil.
