Minnesota has regressed a little bit this season because of the injuries at the quarterback position. The Vikings have a very good roster, but there are some questions about this football team as the 2025 NFL season goes on. What should the Vikings potentially draft when the 2026 NFL Draft arrives?

Pro Football Focus writer Trevor Sikkema has created his latest 2026 NFL mock draft. The Vikings would right now have the 15th overall selection in the 2026 NFL draft. He would have Minnesota selecting Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jeremiyah Love. Sikkema said about this potential pick,
“Love feels like a top-10 talent in this class, so he could go much higher than this, but you never know with the running back position. What we do know is that Love is the kind of athlete you want in your backfield. He has engineered back-to-back seasons of 90.0-plus PFF overall grades with good receiving ability and home-run speed.”
Love has been one of the best offensive players on the Fighting Irish this season. This season with Notre Dame, he has rushed for 894 yards on 141 carries and 11 touchdowns, along with averaging 6.3 yards per carry. Love has also caught 23 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns, along with averaging 9.9 yards per reception.
This would be a huge addition to the Vikings offense. However, the Fighting Irish running back could be potentially a top 10 selection in the 2026 NFL Draft also.
