The Green Bay Packers have one of the best running backs in the game.
Josh Jacobs has always been a true every-down force, and he’s even made strides as a pass catcher.
However, he hasn’t had a good year so far, but that might not be on him.
Statistics show how the Packers’ running game has been struggling this season.
“There are 13 QBs in the NFL with more yards before contact than Josh Jacobs this year. Emari Demercado, who has 22 rush attempts, has more yards before contact than Jacobs, who has 141 carries,” Justis Mosqueda wrote on X.

Jacobs is regularly getting hit either at or behind the line of scrimmage.
The fact that he’s still averaging almost 4.0 yards per carry speaks volumes about his talent.
Clearly, moving guard Elgton Jenkins to center has messed up the interior of the offensive line.
More worrisome, head coach Matt LaFleur continues to insist on establishing the run rather than using the passing game more often.
Of course, a good offense complements itself, but he has to realize that his team can’t create any running lanes right now.
As a result, quarterback Jordan Love is facing difficult third-and-long situations.
The Packers are wasting a year of the veteran Jacobs, and they will have to make some big moves to overhaul the offensive line this offseason, so it doesn’t happen again.
In the meantime, they might be better off trusting Love to make plays, and he certainly has the weapons to do so.
