CAPITALS – Saba: Barcelona settled for a 3–3 draw with Belgian hosts Club Brugge last night, in the fourth round of the UEFA Champions League group stage. Club Brugge took the lead three times through goals from Nicolo Tresoldi and a brace by Carlos Forbs in the 6th, 17th and 63rd minutes. Barcelona equalized on each occasion, with goals from Ferran Torres, Lamine Yamal, and an own goal by Christos Tzolis of Club Brugge in the 8th, 61st and 77th minutes. Barcelona raised its tally to 7 points, placing it 11th in the standings, and is preparing to face Chelsea away on November 25. Meanwhile, Club Brugge reached 4 points in 22nd place and will travel to face Sporting Lisbon on November 26. Brazilian youngster Estevão scored Chelsea’s opener in the 16th minute, after receiving a pass from compatriot Andrey Santos and finishing past goalkeeper Mateusz Kochalski. The home team responded with two goals from Cape Verde’s Leandro Andrade and Montenegro’s Marko Janković from the penalty spot in the 29th and 39th minutes, ending the first half 2–1 in Qarabag’s favor. In the second half, Chelsea increased their attacking pressure, and Argentine Alejandro Garnacho scored the equalizer with a powerful strike in the 53rd minute, marking his first Champions League goal of the season and his second in all competitions. In another match, Cyprus’ Pafos secured its first group-stage victory, defeating Spain’s Villarreal 1–0 with a goal scored by Dutch player Derrick Luckassen in the 46th minute.
