The Philadelphia Eagles won big in Week 8 but couldn't have liked the late run on which Saquon Barkley tweaked his groin and had to leave the game.
The good news for Philly, sort of, is that they had a Week 9 bye.
That has just kept it a long wait to know how Barkley is or isn't healing.
And it's an even longer wait since the Eagles don't play until Monday night in Week 10 against the Packers, so their first official practice of the week wasn't until today.

Is Saquon Barkley playing this week?
Saquon Barkley appears to have taken the right step toward playing this week.
Beat reporter Jeff McLane reports that Barkley is at Thursday's practice.
Barkley's groin injury against the Giants came at the end of what had been his best game of the season. He had opened that contest with a long touchdown run against his former team.
Barkley hasn't been the same player this season as last season, although much of that has been attributed to an offensive line that's allowed the star to get hit a lot earlier than he was last season.
Of course, as always, that's only part of the story. Barkley has to do better on his end of things, too.
At least the Eagles will likely have Barkley for Monday night, where he can try to prove he's more like his old self once again.
