Harold Fannin fantasy injury tip: Browns TE news could mean waiver wire sleeper is needed

It's always a bit of a bummer when the popular waiver wire pickup immediately is injured.

Harold Fannin Jr. was added in a lot of fantasy football leagues this week with some key tight ends now injured or on bye, and the Cleveland Browns' rookie looked like a quality addition.

That is, until he missed Thursday's practice with a hamstring injury.

No one likes to mess with hamstring problems, because they have a tendency to persist.

Fannin's status for Week 10 is now in doubt.

Fannin leads the Browns in both receptions and receiving yards this season. If he's active, he's a quality fill-in play at tight end.

If the hamstring injury keeps Fannin out on Sunday, though, there are some options available to be picked up.

Colston Loveland, Juwan Johnson, Theo Johnson and Dalton Schultz are all options available in more than half of Yahoo leagues.

In deeper leagues, Isaiah Likely and Taysom Hill are two players available in more than 90% of Yahoo leagues.

Loveland was a popular pickup this week after a big game, and if Cole Kmet remains out, Loveland is a solid choice.

The two Johnsons and Schultz can all get the job done, although Schultz gets a bit of a downgrade since Davis Mills is his QB and not C.J. Stroud.

You could also give a chance to Luke Musgrave, Green Bay's new TE1 with Tucker Kraft out. But Musgrave is more of a blocking type and may not even sniff the production of Kraft.
