The Denver Broncos have a pretty sizable opening to fill on Thursday Night Football in Week 10.
Marvin Mims Jr. isn't out there.
Mims is a star return man for Denver who has also grown into an exciting offensive weapon.
The Las Vegas Raiders won't have to deal with that speed and explosiveness on this night, though.
The Broncos signed WR Michael Bandy to the active roster in part to make up for Mims' absence. Troy Franklin and Pat Bryant should get most of the secondary wideout snaps behind Courtland Sutton.

Why isn't Marvin Mims Jr. playing tonight?
Mims isn't playing on Thursday Night Football because he's injured. He was ruled out earlier in the week.
The speedy Mims is concussed. He got limited practices in on Tuesday and Wednesday but never got to a full practice on the short week.
The Broncos will get the extended mini-bye after the Thursday night game, which should help Mims recover.
But in the meantime, he's one the sideline, not on the field.
Mims' multiple roles will have to be filled by other Broncos. They're heavily favored to beat the Raiders, so hopefully the absence of Mims isn't too big a deal.
