Playboi Carti and Mitchell and Ness are teaming up on a collection of throwback NBA jerseys, featuring teams like the Nets, Bulls, and 76ers. The collection, announced earlier this week, is available to preorder today from Fanatics and Complex Shop. The jerseys ship on Dec. 1.

Carti has long been known for his extensive jersey collection — and his habit of wearing them backwards. The collection features jerseys from seven teams: the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors, and the Atlanta Hawks, Carti’s hometown team.

The jerseys are inspired by the 1990s and 2000s, with designs inspired by jerseys worn from 1995 to 2006. The jerseys feature “YVL,” a reference to Carti’s Young Vamp Life label, on the back (or the front, depending on how you decide to wear them).

It’s the latest collaboration to land as the 2025-2026 NBA season heats up, including the throwback NBA on NBC merch that hit shelves ahead of the first game of the season.

As for Playboi Carti, he’s currently on The Antagonist tour in support of his album, Music. The tour runs through Dec. 1, when he’ll close out the tour with a hometown show in Atlanta.
