This call would be, in my opinion, hugely deserved after his performances so far this season.
Scott has started all-but one of Bournemouth’s games so far this term, and he has developed a good partnership with Tyler Adams in midfield.
Adams’ combativeness in the centre of the park alongside the Englishman has helped him flourish, with Scott impressing so far this term.
But who would he be included ahead?
Declan Rice is one of the Three Lions’ top performers so is a shoe in, while Tuchel is reportedly set to recall Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham.
Previous international breaks have seen the England boss call up Elliot Anderson and Morgan Gibbs-White from Nottingham Forest, Brentford’s Jordan Henderson and Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers.

For the September fixtures, Crystal Palace’s Adam Wharton was included, while in October he was replaced by AC Milan’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
The first question is who Bellingham will replace – potentially Gibbs-White or Rogers, or even one of the forwards, like Eberechi Eze.
Scott’s competition is likely to be Anderson, Henderson and Wharton or Loftus-Cheek.

Tuchel has called Henderson up as some experience, and he has been performing well for Brentford after he returned to the Premier League this summer.
If the German boss was to replace him with Scott, he would be opting for a squad will less experience, although this could be a good time to do that, with England already qualified for the World Cup next summer.

That could be a positive for Scott – Tuchel may be more likely to call up other players to get a look at them before the tournament to assess his options and depth, should there be any injuries.
Anderson and Wharton are both young midfielders who Scott knows well from the age group England sides, with the Palace man the youngest of the three.
But he has one England appearance in a friendly, while he went to the Euros in 2024 with the squad, although he did not come off the bench.
The Forest midfielder was called up for the first time this year and has made four appearances, all from the start – so it is clear Tuchel is a fan.

Scott, though, won’t have done his chances any harm in the Cherries’ 2-0 victory over Forest last month, in a comfortable game where Bournemouth were good and their visitors were unable to really threaten.
Loftus-Cheek may be unlikely to get the nod after he made his first England appearance in seven years off the bench against Wales in the last break.
It may well be a case that two of Wharton, Anderson and Scott are included in the squad as young midfield options – and the Bournemouth man will be hoping he is one of them.
Tuchel names his squad at 10am this morning.
