Week 10 of the 2025 NFL season got off to a stuttering start, as fans complained about an underwhelming Thursday Night Football between the Denver Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders.

The Broncos edged a dull primetime game 10-7 against their AFC West rivals, improving to 8-2 this season and remaining at the top of the division. The game was dominated by penalty flags, individual errors, and interceptions, with just two first-half touchdowns before a quiet second half.

Denver continued to win ugly after narrow victories over the New York Giants and the New York Jets earlier this season. The Broncos overcame punting struggles in the first half to grind out the result, but fans weren't happy as Denver won its seventh game in a row for the first time since 2015.

The Raiders took the lead in the first quarter as rookie running back Ashton Jeanty rushed for a four-yard touchdown. It was the first and last score of the game for Las Vegas, as the Broncos managed to win despite only scoring 10 points.

The Broncos tied the game before halftime as quarterback Bo Nix connected with wide receiver Troy Franklin for a seven-yard touchdown, but the offense was almost non-existent from the third quarter. After missing a field-goal attempt earlier in the game, Will Lutz's 32-yard kick in the third quarter ended up being the decisive play.

Fans tuning into Amazon Prime's coverage voiced their displeasure on social media, expressing regret for watching the Week 10 opener. "It's cool they're airing a preseason game on TNF," one fan joked on X.

"This is one of the worst TNF games I’ve seen in recent memory tbh (to be honest)," another added. "Top 5 Worst TNF Games of All Time. No debate," a third wrote.

"Raiders vs Broncos and literally neither team seems like they want to win it," one fan wrote, referencing the divisional rivalry. "Why am I watching TNF?" Another supporter asked online.

Some fans then turned on those behind the NFL schedule for primetime games. "I am not enjoying my Thursday Night Football viewing experience," one fan wrote.

"The people responsible for bringing us this Raiders, Broncos game should be brought up on charges," another claimed.

Nix has impressed this season, but threw two interceptions against the Raiders and failed to breach a struggling defense. Nix was 16-for-28 and 150 yards passing, but his performance still outshone that of the Raiders' veteran quarterback Geno Smith.

Smith was 16-for-26 with 143 passing yards and one interception, but limped off the field in the fourth quarter with a suspected quad injury. Smith was sacked six times as Denver remained the No. 1 defense in the league for rushing the quarterback.

The Broncos' defense now has 46 sacks this season, 18 more than the Detroit Lions, who rank second in the NFL. Denver's special teams unit also blocked a punt deep in the Raiders' territory, which led to the game-winning field goal in the third quarter.
