Newcastle United injuries: Anthony Gordon is a major doubt for the Premier League trip to Brentford on Sunday.
Tino Livramento remains sidelined and Yoane Wissa has been ruled out against his former club with a knee injury while William Osula is also set to miss out after withdrawing from the matchday squad ahead of Wednesday’s 2-0 Champions League win over Athletic Club due to an ongoing ankle issue. T
During the game, Anthony Gordon was forced off early with a hip issue and is officially a doubt for the trip to the Gtech Community Stadium this weekend.
Newcastle will be looking for a reaction to the 3-1 defeat at West Ham United last time out in the Premier League. The Magpies haven’t won away from home in the league since April and currently sit 13th in the table after 10 games.

Eddie Howe provides NUFC injury update
Issuing an update on Gordon, Howe said: "We don't think it's a serious injury. We're going to get him scanned and we're awaiting the results.
“There's every chance he might miss out on Sunday but we'll give him every opportunity to be fit."
Gordon is set to be named in the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Serbia and Albania but could still drop out due to his injury. The England squad is set to be announced at 10am.
Newcastle United striker injury blow
Osula’s late withdrawal from the squad ahead of Athletic Club on Wednesday is going to extend to the weekend due to an ongoing ankle issue that he had previously playing through.
On Osula, Howe added: “Yeah, it's something that he's been feeling for a little bit, but he's been functional.
“He's been able to train and play but it was getting to the stage where it was, I think, affecting him a little bit more laterally.
“And he had a scan, we were awaiting the scan results, sort of tied in with the game. And the scan just told us to pull back a little bit, so he'll have a period of rest.
“But again, it's not a serious injury. We expect him to be weeks, not any longer.”
Yoane Wissa latest
Wissa has been ruled out of the Brentford match and omitted from the DR Congo squad for the World Cup play-off match against Cameroon next week.
“Yohan's working well,” Howe said. “He's on the grass, he's building his fitness. I think the knee's feeling good, no problems with that.
“It's more a case of looking at his fitness, sharpness, all the things that he's going to need to put together. He's in a good place injury-wise now to really kick on and push his body.
“But we're going to need to give him time to get fit and robust enough. And in a position where he can give his best version of himself for the team. So how long that takes is slightly unclear. But yeah, I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.”
