PHILADELPHIA — A.J. Brown put any concerns to rest about his injury status for the Philadelphia Eagles’ game on Monday night against the Green Bay Packers.
“Oh, I’m playing,” Brown said Thursday at the NovaCare Complex. “I’m good.”
Brown was listed as a full participant in Thursday’s practice, along with running back Saquon Barkley, which is another good sign for the Eagles.
Brown was dealing with a hamstring injury. The star receiver missed every practice leading up to the Eagles’ Oct. 26 game vs. the Giants and did not play in the 38-20 win.
Brown — who, to no one’s surprise, was not traded ahead of this week’s deadline — last played against the Vikings on Oct. 19. He posted a season-high 121 yards and two touchdowns.
Brown has been mired in an up-and-down fourth season in Philadelphia. The three-time All-Pro has only 395 receiving yards and three touchdowns on 29 catches in seven games. Through the first five weeks, Brown had only 194 yards on 19 receptions.
But Brown figures to be a major part of the game plan on Monday night when the Eagles take on Micah Parsons and the Packers.
The Eagles and Packers will kick off at 8:15 p.m. at Lambeau Field. The game will air on ABC.
