England axe five stars in squad announcement as Thomas Tuchel snubs Jack Grealish again

England boss Thomas Tuchel has axed five players from his England squad and continued to leave out Jack Grealish for the upcoming international break. The Everton star has continued to shine in the Premier League this season but hasn't featured for his nation since 2024.

The Three Lions have already sealed their spot in next summer's World Cup after winning all six of their qualification games. Tuchel's men are yet to concede a goal and will be looking to continue their fine form against Serbia and Latvia.

England were 5-0 winners in the previous meeting with Serbia in one of the best performances since Tuchel replaced Gareth Southgate at the start of the year. They beat Albania 2-0 in March thanks to goals from Myles Lewis-Skelly and Harry Kane.

Ahead of this month's fixtures, Tuchel has made five changes to his squad with Grealish, Lewis-Skelly and Ollie Watkins the most noticable exclusions. After being left out of the October squad, Jude Bellingham has been included following his return from injury.

The surprise inclusion is Bournemouth's Alex Scott. The versatile midfielder has impressed for the Cherries this season and was a regular in the England youth set-up previously.

Goalkeeper James Trafford, Morgan Gibbs-White and Ruben Loftus-Cheek have also been left out. Nick Pope, Reece James, Bellingham and Phil Foden come in.
