Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown injury worries were silenced on Eagles Week 10 update

The primary concern with injuries was that Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley and wide receiver A.J. Brown might not be 100% coming off the bye week. That was squashed pretty quickly.

In the first injury report of Week 10, Barkley (groin) and Brown (hamstring) were both full participants in practice. Barkley left the Week 8 New York Giants game early with a groin injury, but could have returned in the game. Brown did not play in that same game after getting his hamstring injured at some point in the Minnesota Vikings game in Week 7.

The only player on the Eagles who did not practice was starting center Cam Jurgens, who is still recovering from his knee injury. He missed the Week 8 Giants games after leaving the previous week's Vikings game with that banged-up knee.

Two Eagles were limited in practice, with both players being on defense. Cornerback Adoree' Jackson and defensive lineman Moro Ojomo are slowly coming back from their concussion injuries.

Some other key players who were full participants were edge rusher Nolan Smith Jr. (triceps) and offensive lineman Willie Lampkin (knee/ankle), as each had their 21-day practice windows opened last week and this week. Cornerback Jakorian Bennett was also a full participant as he works his way back from his pectoral injury.

Philly looking to be in good shape for their Week 10 Packers showdown

Jurgens is the only injury of concern right now as he recovers from his knee injury. After the Eagles rushed for over 250 yards in their last game with Brett Toth at center, it might be safe to keep him out one more game and roll with Toth.

The most important players on the injury report were obviously Barkley and Brown, but both are looking good to come back. Brown already told the media after practice that he was going to play in the Packers game.

Eagles fans have to feel great about Smith coming back to practice and looking to be on pace for returning for the Packers game. Everyone wants to see him and newly acquired Jaelan Phillips work together off the edges for the first time and see how the pair works.

Overall, this was one of the more encouraging injury reports by the Eagles, and they still have an extra day to get everyone healthy. They will need all hands on deck for a critical Packers game coming up.
