Premier League champions Liverpool travel to face rivals Manchester City in an intriguing encounter on Sunday.
Arne Slot’s side have struggled lately, although they did end a five-game domestic losing run by beating Aston Villa at Anfield on Saturday night.
The Reds followed that victory up with an impressive 1-0 win against Spanish giants Real Madrid in the Champions League group phase on Tuesday, but they must now turn their attention to their trip to The Etihad.
In the meantime, however, it has been revealed that Liverpool are one of three Premier League sides interested in a Bundesliga star.
According to Football Insider, Liverpool, Manchester United and Chelsea are all in the race to sign FC Koln winger Said El Mala.
The 19-year-old has been impressing in the German top flight this season, scoring four goals in nine Bundesliga matches.

It is claimed that the trio of Premier League sides are all interested in the teenager, who joined Koln last year but remainded on loan with former side Viktoria Koln.
El Mala spent time with Borussia Monchen Gladbach’s academy during his youth, and has also had spells with TSV Meerbusch and Viktoria Koln.
The winger remained on loan at his former side last season, but has been impressing since returning to his parent club.
He has scored four goals and provided two assists in the Bundesliga this season, and the German side may struggle to keep hold of the player beyond next summer as several clubs are circling.
El Mala’s current contract with FC Koln is set to run until the end of the 2029/30 campaign, with the winger having signed a long-term deal when he joined the club last year.
