Manchester United star Bryan Mbeumo has been crowned the Premier League Player of the Month for October.
Premier League announced on X: “At the heart of Manchester United’s return to form. Bryan Mbeumo is October’s EA Sports FC Player of the Month!”
Since sealing his £71 million move from Brentford in the summer, Mbeumo has been nothing short of electrifying at Old Trafford.
He has already racked up five goals and one assist in just 11 appearances across all competitions, quickly becoming one of manager Ruben Amorim’s most trusted players.
United played three games in October, and Mbeumo had a big influence in all of them.
The 26-year-old delivered a pinpoint left-footed cross that found Mason Mount in acres of space inside the box.
The England international controlled the ball superbly before finding the net with aplomb.
He then announced himself on the big stage at Anfield, firing United ahead inside two minutes to set the tone for a magical evening.
He made a fantastic run past Virgil van Dijk before clipping the ball over the Liverpool goalkeeper.
The Cameroon international proved to be the match-winner by netting a crucial brace in the 4-2 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion.
United head coach Ruben Amorim previously described Mbeumo as the “working machine“.
Mbeumo’s explosive acceleration, clever movement, and deadly eye for goal have made him one of the Premier League’s most feared forwards.
United had to wait more than a month to finalise his transfer but that wait now looks completely worth it.
