It has been the bane of the Chicago Bears' existence, but the team has dealt with multiple injuries on a weekly basis. The dreaded injury report did not improve with the second one released in Week 10; it actually worsened before the New York Giants game.
Bears linebacker T.J. Edwards headlines the group as missed a second straight day of practice with a hand/hamstring injury. Also not practicing was defensive back Josh Blackwell (concussion), defensive lineman Dominique Robinson (ankle), and offensive lineman Joe Thuney (rest).
The good news is that four players who did not participate in the first practice was back working out for the second one. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett was the only one who was a full participant, but that's because he rested the previous practice. The others that were limited include wide receivers DJ Moore (hip/groin) and Rome Odunze (ankle/heel), as well as safety Kevin Byard III (back/ankle).

Positive signs for Bears with some concerns with the defense
The running backs are looking to be in much better shape with Swift and Monangai now fully participating in practice. After missing a few games. Johnson appears to be heading in the right direction of either player this week or next week, but the Bears could end up being cautious with him since Monangai and Brittain Brown exploded for big games in their Week 9 win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
Chicago's biggest concern is Edwards once again missing practice and now in danger of missing the Giants game. He has already missed time this year, with Noah Sewell replacing him in the lineup during that time.
Kmet and Burden are looking good after recovering from a concussion and are heading in the right direction to return to play. Other pass catchers in Moore and Odunze are slowly working their way back to playing, but I still expect them to start.

All eyes are on the defense with Edwards hurt, but the Bears overall are not looking too bad for the Giants matchup.
